Before you embark on this rewarding career, here's what we'll need from you:

  1. State ID or Driver's License.

  2. Social Security Card.

  3. Two-step PPD, PPD Chest X-Ray, or QuantiFERON-TB Gold (QFT).

  4. An Updated Resume.

  5. Recent Physical & Flu Shots.

  6. State Criminal Background Check (FBI Clearance Required if residence in the state of PA is less than 2 years).

  7. Child Abuse Clearance.

  8. Direct Deposit Ready (Must have access to an active bank account or form of debit card).

  9. Certificates (Any relevant certificates that apply to the position in question).

The Hiring Process - After a staff member reviews your application, they will contact you to discuss your availability and experience. If you are a good match for Abington Caregivers, an associate will work to pair you with a compatible client. 

References Required for Employment with Abington Caregivers Home Care Agency in Pennsylvania - Before you can be employed by Abington Caregivers, you must have three positive references. 

What Is the Minimum Age for a Caregiver Job in Pennsylvania? - Caregivers must be eighteen years old or older to work for our agency. You must also live in the Pennsylvania area; you need to be close to the clients served by Abington Caregivers.
